Recognition of Trainers: Induction for ES and NCS 

It is mandatory for all Educational Supervisors and Named Clinical Supervisors to undergo training for their roles. This course provides prospective Wessex Educational Supervisors and Named Clinical Supervisors with the necessary skills they require to train junior doctors, and gain recognition for five years. Please click here for further information on the GMC Recognition of Trainers process.

Attendance: Delegates must attend both days to gain full recognition. 

Alternative Recognition Courses: This course is not appropriate for Wessex Educational Supervisors or Named Clinical Supervisors who wish to update their recognition. The following courses are appropriate as contribution towards the eight hours face-to-face CPD training (required within every five years) to retain recognition as a Wessex Educational and/or Clinical Supervisor:
