Wessex Patient Safety First - Training Day 
  COURSE DETAILS
Information:

This course forms the first part of the Wessex “Patient Safety First Programme” and addresses common themes of teamwork, communication, leadership and professionalism, as well as human factors in clinical error. It also covers risk awareness in specific specialties, via workshops.

Target Audience and Pre-requisite Requirement(s):

Specialty specific information:

  • Trainees are required to attend one of their designated specialty specific event only - please refer to the Event Information to ensure you book onto the correct event date
  • It is not necessary to attend more than one event - multiple dates are provided for choice only
  • ST1 GP Placement trainees must attend their designated events
  • Hospital/Specialty GP Placement trainees should preferably attend their allocated specialty days, or if this is not possible may attend on any of the GP days instead
